About this clip
Pat Henry Roasts Hubert Humphrey
Pat Henry was a nightclub comedian and frequent Las Vegas performer known for fast one-liners and appearances alongside major entertainers. Hubert Humphrey was a nationally known public figure whose energetic speaking style and public persona made him a recognizable roast target.
In this clip, Pat Henry turns that contrast into roast material, teasing Hubert Humphrey with the affectionate exaggeration and show-business one-upmanship that defined the format.
