Red Buttons
Roasts Frank Sinatra

About this clip

Red Buttons Roasts Frank Sinatra

Red Buttons was an Oscar-winning actor and veteran comedian whose roast appearances often mixed mock grievance, storytelling and perfectly timed punch lines. Frank Sinatra was a legendary singer and actor whose style, fame and larger-than-life public image made him an irresistible roast target.

In this clip, Red Buttons turns that contrast into roast material, teasing Frank Sinatra with the affectionate exaggeration and show-business one-upmanship that defined the format.
