About this clip
Rip Taylor Roasts Peter Marshall
Rip Taylor was a flamboyant comedian known for confetti, exaggerated reactions and an exuberant television personality. Peter Marshall was an actor, singer and television host best known as the genial master of ceremonies on The Hollywood Squares.
In this clip, Rip Taylor turns that contrast into roast material, teasing Peter Marshall with the affectionate exaggeration and show-business one-upmanship that defined the format.
