About this clip
Foster Brooks on The Steve Allen Show
Foster Brooks was a comic actor whose signature “lovable drunk” routine turned slurred dignity, delayed reactions and mock seriousness into a classic roast persona.
This vintage clip steps outside the roast format to preserve another memorable celebrity television moment from the same era, adding variety to the archive while keeping the focus on recognizable performers and classic entertainment history.
