About this clip
Jack Benny - Man of the Week
Jack Benny was one of radio and television’s defining comedians, famous for exquisite timing and a comic persona built around vanity, stinginess and age jokes.
The clip uses the familiar roast format—mock praise, exaggeration and carefully aimed jokes—to turn the featured subject into the evening’s comic target.
