Rich Little
Roasts Jack Benny

About this clip

Rich Little Roasts Jack Benny

Rich Little was a master impressionist famous for uncannily mimicking presidents, actors and television personalities, often turning voices themselves into punch lines. Jack Benny was one of radio and television’s defining comedians, famous for exquisite timing and a comic persona built around vanity, stinginess and age jokes.

In this clip, Rich Little turns that contrast into roast material, teasing Jack Benny with the affectionate exaggeration and show-business one-upmanship that defined the format.
