About this clip

Frank Welker Roasts George Burns

Frank Welker is a prolific actor and voice performer whose remarkable range of character voices and sound effects made him a familiar presence across decades of entertainment. George Burns was a vaudeville veteran, comedian and actor whose dry timing, cigar and self-deprecating delivery kept him a star for generations.

In this clip, Frank Welker turns that contrast into roast material, teasing George Burns with the affectionate exaggeration and show-business one-upmanship that defined the format.
