About this clip

Nipsey Russell Roasts Dean Martin

Nipsey Russell was a comedian and television regular celebrated for polished one-liners, quick rhymes and an urbane, mischievous delivery. Dean Martin was a singer, actor and effortlessly relaxed television host whose celebrity roast specials became a showcase for famous comics and entertainers.

In this clip, Nipsey Russell turns that contrast into roast material, teasing Dean Martin with the affectionate exaggeration and show-business one-upmanship that defined the format.
