Red Buttons
Roasts Suzanne Somers

About this clip

Red Buttons Roasts Suzanne Somers

Red Buttons was an Oscar-winning actor and veteran comedian whose roast appearances often mixed mock grievance, storytelling and perfectly timed punch lines. Suzanne Somers was an actress, entertainer and author best known for her television role on Three’s Company.

In this clip, Red Buttons turns that contrast into roast material, teasing Suzanne Somers with the affectionate exaggeration and show-business one-upmanship that defined the format.
