About this clip

Foster Brooks Roasts Angie Dickinson

Foster Brooks was a comic actor whose signature “lovable drunk” routine turned slurred dignity, delayed reactions and mock seriousness into a classic roast persona. Angie Dickinson was a film and television star known for a cool, glamorous screen presence and for the series Police Woman.

In this clip, Foster Brooks turns that contrast into roast material, teasing Angie Dickinson with the affectionate exaggeration and show-business one-upmanship that defined the format.
